Advanced High Quality Packaging
MCP Performance Plastics is a dynamic developer and manufacturer
of advanced, custom co-estruded and thermoformed, very high quality
thermoplastics for a wide range of turnkey packaging solutions.
Using the latest state-of-the-art technology, MCP has become a
leader in research and development of high barrier structures
made of CPET.
One of MCP's recent outstanding developments is the unique, complete
dual-ovenable retortable package, now available in a range of
stock trays.
MCP serves, among others, the demanding food industry with various
lidded and preformed trays for chilled, frozen and shelp-stable
food packaging produced from APET,CPET and polypropylene.
MCP is known for very high quality products and outstanding customer
service.
Recyclable and Environment Friendly Packaging
MCP places particular emphasis on recyclable and environment
friendly packaging mediums, in accordance with both European and
U.S. market demands.

Top Quality Control and Assurance
Stringent Quality Control is assured by the Statistical
Process Control (SPC) method and by strict control of all components
and materials used in all production batches.
All MCP products are produced from raw materials which comply
with USDA,FDA and BGA specifications for use in food holding,
storage and cooking.
Meeting European Demands for Quality Assurance
MCP Quality Assurance has met requirements and is certified
by ISO 9002.
Future Developments
A significant percentage of MCP turnover is dedicated to
research and development, performed by a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary
staff, comprising specialists in plastics, chemical and industrial
engineering. The R&D program is carried out in cooperation with
the Food and Packaging Laboratory of the Technion - Israel Institute
of Technology, Haifa.
Objectives of the current MCP R&D program include:
*higher heat resistant packaging combined with longer shelf-life
*advanced microwave packaging
*high-tech packaging solutions for problematic food products.
TOTAL PACKAGING SOLUTIONS FOR THE FOOD INDUSTRY
MCP offers a wide range of trays suitable for microwave
and conventional oven use as sell as frozen and chilled products.
Produced from CPET,PET and PP, the trays have excellent shelf-life
properties and the customer can be supplied with compatible Lidding
Films for these trays by MCP.
Applications: Institutions, catering, fast-food industry, conditories,
meat-packing industry, frozen and chilled food packagin.
